When you start in a virtual world, you have lots of questions.  You need answers in a language you speak fluently.  Second Life has people speaking lots of languages.  Here is how New Resident Services  matches needs with resources.
Help in many languages
  • Join the group: New Resident Services group
  • You can join at this location:
  • http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lawst%20Paradise/119/27/22
  • (SLurl--paste in the top bar of your viewer, enter) 
  • Once in the group, open group chat and 
  • type your request in your preferred language.
  • Give the English name of the language if you can.
  • If someone online speaks that language, they will answer.
  • If not, someone online will try to find help in the language you need.
  • Or they will send your request to the volunteers for that language.
  • A volunteer will get to you as soon as possible.

  • You have to complete these classes before you attempt the other unless you are already familiar with the blender interface

How to handle a Hypergrid address 

From any Hypergrid-enabled grid, paste the address into the navigation bar of Firestorm and press enter. Or paste it into the world map search bar of any viewer, search, and click Teleport when the destination is found. If it doesn't work, don't give up. Try again in a minutes.  Sometimes the first try fails (probably times out).  And try again a few hours later. Some hypergrid destinations are offline part of the day.
